Mujer e Independencia en Am\u00e9rica Latina, que propone \u201cconocer, comprender, y valorar la recuperaci\u00f3n de las mujeres como sujetos y agentes hist\u00f3ricos\u201d,<!--more--> CEMHAL convoca al Simposio Internacional Las Mujeres en la Formaci\u00f3n de los Estados Nacionales en Am\u00e9rica Latina y El Caribe que se realizar\u00e1 los d\u00edas 16, 17 y 18 agosto 2017, en la  Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de San Martin de Porres en Lima, Per\u00fa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La formaci\u00f3n de los Estados nacionales, signific\u00f3 impulsar la pacificaci\u00f3n, la demarcaci\u00f3n de los l\u00edmites geogr\u00e1ficos, la administraci\u00f3n, y el ordenamiento jur\u00eddico. Es cuando se construye la idea de naci\u00f3n como patria. Se formulan proyectos de civilizaci\u00f3n y de sociabilidad. Es tambi\u00e9n una etapa de guerras, de disputas territoriales, y de consolidaci\u00f3n de una patria criolla sobre las antiguas culturas ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los Estados nacionales en Am\u00e9rica Latina se fundaron en territorios que hab\u00edan sido conquistados y colonizados, donde se prolongaron formas de dominaci\u00f3n e imposici\u00f3n de los intereses de una elite y el desconocimiento de los pueblos originarios. Por ello, se trata tambi\u00e9n de un siglo de resistencia y de batallas, en el que participaron mujeres de distintas etnias, clases y creencias: mujeres criollas, ind\u00edgenas, mestizas y afrodescendientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">TEMARIO<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I. Creole leadership over the ancient indigenous cultures was also consolidated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">Since the Latin America and the Caribbean nations were founded in territories previously conquered and colonized\u2014and they transformed into nations controlled by the elite\u2014, it is common to find different forms of domination and imposition, as well as different strategies to suppress the indigenous peoples.\u00a0 Thus, the historical period also constitutes a century of resistance and wars, in which women of all races (indigenous, creole, mestizo and from African descent), classes, and beliefs actively participated in the formation of the independent nations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>RESEARCH AREAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>I.
